Rachel Kiddell-Monroe

Doctors Without Borders

Rachel Kiddell-Monroe is a member of the international board of directors for Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF). She is a lawyer and an activist, specialising in global health, governance and bioethics. Rachel has worked with MSF in Djibouti, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Rachel has also served as the Canadian director of MSF's Access to Medicines Campaign and is currently president of the board of directors for Universities Allied for Essential Medicines.

Doctors Without Borders Presentation:

Rachel Kiddell-Monroe will present on the international humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF)'s public communications and advocacy throughout the West African Ebola epidemic, the largest outbreak of the disease in history. Throughout the crisis, MSF has treated 35% of all confirmed Ebola patients and was a leading voice calling for greater international response as the outbreak was allowed to accelerate out of control.
